ASSESSMENT We provide a thorough assessment of you, your child and/or your family. Getting the right information is crucial in creating the best treatment plan for you and your family. This process takes at minimum 1.5 hours. Plan on 2 hours for your first visit. You are welcome to bring anything and anyone to the session that you feel will help us help you. Getting to know you and your unique concerns is the first and most important step in providing the specific treatments that are going to help you.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY Individual treatment is available to children, adults and families. Your clinician will determine if individual, group, family or a combination of treatments will be the most effective for your concerns. You are an active participant in setting up your treatment plan. We will go at your pace and what you are most comfortable with. Therapy should not be stressful, so understanding your treatment options is important for you to understand. You have choices and you have a voice. Treatment is not done to you but rather with you.
GROUP THERAPY Group therapy is a very effective treatment for many concerns. But unlike other group therapies, we taylor your treatment to your unique needs. Therefore, you will have individual assignments and homework in between sessions. Through this process you will learn many skills. You will learn about yourself and understand why you may engage in destructive behaviors. Once you understand "why" you behave in a certain way, you can get on the path of correcting your behavior. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) include treatment for:
FAMILY THERAPY Family therapy is available to assist family members in improving relationships, communication, and to help families recover from grief, loss, and the effects that mental health and addiction can have on a family. Family participants may start out in individual therapy in order to develop a strategy and plan that will work within the family. Any time one member of the family is in treatment we recommend that other family members participate when it makes sense to do so. This helps the whole family grow and heal together, which will improve your connectedness with each other. There are many different types of families. A childless couple, adult children and their parents, divorced parents with children, single parent homes, single gender couples, and children who were adopted or are in foster care. No matter who makes up your family, we will help you restore the broken pieces and help you put back together the people in your life that are most important to you.
